Job Requirements

  • High School or GED
  • 1 to 3 years of related production support experience
  • proficiency in the operation and analyzing of audio visual equipment including but not limited to closed circuit television, video projectors, monitors and recorders, mixing and amplification equipment, speaker systems and LED system
  • ability to coordinate use of modems and wifi equipment and service between building and contracted vendor, including on site troubleshooting
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • endurance for standing or walking for extended periods, use of hand and arms to reach, stoop, kneel and crouch
  • vision abilities required include near vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus to customer needs
  • must be able to operate office equipment, two way radio, specialized computer equipment and programs
  • must be flexible to work weekends, holidays, and nights

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Supports operation maintenance and repair of technical production equipment
  • supports PC's and WIFI internet technical support for staff, promoters, vendors and audience
  • sets up sound equipment for various events including concerts, operas, plays and speeches
  • sets up and adjusts video projector, monitor and video recorders
  • selects appropriate microphones, speaker systems, mixing and amplifying equipment
  • maintains and recommends improvements for sound equipment
  • performs preventative maintenance and repairs on sound equipment
  • demonstrates knowledge of audio test equipment and procedures
  • identifies musical instruments by sound
  • flexible to work weekends, holidays and nights
  • performs all other duties as assigned
