Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- three years of professional experience in technical direction or production management in a performing arts facility or similar venue
- applicable experience with lighting and audio
- valid Arizona Driver License at time of hire
- ability to maintain valid driver’s license
- must pass background screening including criminal, drug, and motor vehicle checks
- able to work collaboratively with diverse teams
- strong communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- three years of professional experience in technical direction or production management
- experience with lighting and audio implementation
- knowledge of touring technical management
- theatrical production organization skills
- preferred bachelor’s degree in related field
Job Duties
- Oversee all production related aspects of Surprise Arts events including festivals and community shows
- coordinate show advance and manage logistical details for performances
- schedule and supervise production crews
- oversee production phases from planning to execution
- advise on purchasing and maintenance of production equipment
- ensure safety and quality standards are met during all performances
- collaborate with venue owners and staff to align production needs
