Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two or more years of cooking experience in an institutional setting
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to follow, read, and write recipes
  • Physical ability to perform designated job duties

  • Two or more years of cooking experience in an institutional setting
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to follow, read, and write recipes
  • ServeSafe Certification preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish and Microsoft Office skills preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare patient, retail, and catering meals by following culinary production records
  • Execute short-order and batch cooking to meet quality and temperature standards
  • Perform advanced prep tasks by reviewing pull sheets and organizing ingredients
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment adhering to health standards
  • Record temperatures according to regulatory requirements
  • Manage inventory by sorting, labeling, dating, and rotating stock
  • Collaborate with managers and team members to meet operational goals
