Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food preparation preferred but not required
  • Ability to work weekend afternoon and evening shifts
  • Must be punctual and reliable
  • Ability to follow directions and food safety protocols
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Willingness to perform varied tasks as needed

Job Qualifications

  • 0 to 2 years of related food preparation experience is beneficial
  • Ability to follow recipes and food safety guidelines
  • Team-oriented and adaptable to changing work environments

Job Duties

  • Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events
  • Read and follow basic recipes and/or product directions for preparing various food items
  • May prepare food and serve customers at an ala carte and/or operate a grill station
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned which may differ among accounts based on business necessities and client requirements
  • Contribute to reducing food waste and maintaining a safe, healthy working environment
  • Support team members and collaborate effectively within the kitchen and service areas
