Job Requirements
- Must have cooking experience
- ability to use fingers and hands to handle equipment
- able to lift and push 50+ lbs
- able to stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently during an 8+ hour shift
- must be flexible and able to react to changing priorities
- availability to work mandatory overtime and weekends
- ability to read, write and understand English
- shift availability for day and overnight shifts
Job Qualifications
- Culinary degree or cooking certification preferred
- minimum of 2 years experience in a high volume institutional catering environment preferred
- strong knife skills
- ability to read, write, and understand English
- understanding of various cooking techniques
- strong organizational skills
- knowledge of food safety and HACCP regulations
Job Duties
- Prepare complete dishes from scratch in a variety of cuisines
- assemble and plate dishes with consistency and according to customer specifications
- work mandatory overtime
- work weekends as required
- maintain strong efficiency in knife skills

- adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
