Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a production kitchen or food service environment
- Ability to follow standardized recipes and production orders
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a kitchen team
- Physical ability to perform kitchen duties
- Availability to comply with scheduling requirements
Job Qualifications
- ServeSafe CFPM certification
- Experience in high volume food production
- Ability to use standardized recipes
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures
- Skill in producing varied menus
- Experience working in a fast paced kitchen environment
Job Duties
- Provides high volume, hands on preparation of hot and cold food items from raw ingredients
- Produces daily menu from production orders using standardized recipes
- Uses judgment to produce menu in appropriate batch sizes to follow consumption
- Sets up and works cook to order display stations
- Maintains standards for food safety, presentation, quality, cleanliness and customer service
- Prepares menu items for up to 1,500 guests per meal period
- Performs routine cleaning and organization of workstation, equipment, food production and storage areas
