Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a production kitchen or food service environment
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and production orders
  • Knowledge of food safety standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a kitchen team
  • Physical ability to perform kitchen duties
  • Availability to comply with scheduling requirements

Job Qualifications

  • ServeSafe CFPM certification
  • Experience in high volume food production
  • Ability to use standardized recipes
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Skill in producing varied menus
  • Experience working in a fast paced kitchen environment

Job Duties

  • Provides high volume, hands on preparation of hot and cold food items from raw ingredients
  • Produces daily menu from production orders using standardized recipes
  • Uses judgment to produce menu in appropriate batch sizes to follow consumption
  • Sets up and works cook to order display stations
  • Maintains standards for food safety, presentation, quality, cleanliness and customer service
  • Prepares menu items for up to 1,500 guests per meal period
  • Performs routine cleaning and organization of workstation, equipment, food production and storage areas
