Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience in high-volume food production or related culinary role
- Current ServeSafe CFPM certification
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a kitchen team
- Capacity to manage large batch cooking and inventory rotation
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills
- Willingness to comply with all food safety and sanitation regulations
Job Qualifications

- Previous experience in production cooking or high-volume food preparation
- Valid ServeSafe CFPM certification
- Ability to follow standardized recipes and production orders
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation protocols
- Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Ability to maintain quality and presentation standards under pressure
Job Duties
- Prepares a variety of menu items each day and meal period for the cycle menu in Residential Dining
- Serves food in small batches as needed to maintain quality using standardized recipes
- Uses proper cooking procedures and techniques
- Adjusts recipes and production schedule as required by production numbers
- Uses approved sanitation and food safety procedures including ServeSafe CFPM certification
- Properly rotates perishable ingredients
- Works with management and chefs to schedule use for any overproduction to eliminate waste
- Performs routine cleaning and organization of work station, equipment, food production, and food storage areas
- Sets the required menu quantity production for the day or meal period menu with input from management or chef
- Keeps records and documents actual usage and overproduction amounts
