Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to work 1st shift 5:30am to 2:00pm
  • experience in food production or manufacturing is preferred
  • capable of safely lifting 50 lbs above head
  • ability to work in hot and cold environments
  • must follow safety protocols and food safety policies
  • must be detail oriented and able to complete paperwork accurately
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to work well independently and with a team
  • willingness to follow safety and quality standards
  • attendance reliability

Job Duties

  • Adhere to a strict attendance policy
  • check viscosity of soup
  • wash and sanitize kettles after every formula
  • process daily schedule by referring to recipes and coordinating prep department
  • fill out paperwork and IQS entries and inspections
  • load ingredients into kettle
  • take samples to QA
  • retrieve and return containers from prep and blanch
  • verify product quality, item numbers, weights, and conduct HAACP checks
  • follow all required safe work practices including PPE and JSA
  • perform other duties as assigned
