Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 24 months experience, education or training in scheduling workflow and coordinating materials
- Experience or education indicating ability to reason quantitatively and communicate effectively
- Must be enlisted personnel in grades E4 to E5
- Must be assigned or attain compatible AFSC within 1 year
- Must maintain membership in WA Air National Guard
- Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance
- Participation in direct deposit is mandatory
- Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered for Selective Service
- May be required to work swing shifts, weekends, and overtime
- Ability to work in a team and maintain professional relationships
- Awareness of environmental responsibilities
- Compliance with the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment
- May be subject to trial period
Job Qualifications
- Experience, education or training indicating ability to reason quantitatively and communicate clearly
- Experience scheduling workflow in multiple areas and coordinating production support activities
- Experience performing or supervising journeyman level work in a production facility
- Experience preparing job/work orders and scheduling project phases
- Experience monitoring work progress and adjusting resources and sequencing
- Experience using automation programs for data input, equipment status, and job priority monitoring
- High school diploma or GED
Job Duties
- Implements preliminary maintenance plans for assigned weapon systems and schedules immediate maintenance for transient aircraft
- Designates, maintains and monitors current maintenance repair priorities of aircraft
- Authorizes and assigns aircraft maintenance jobs, job control numbers, work priorities, and maintenance scheduling
- Conducts control and dispatch of shop assignments and monitors job completion progress
- Maintains visual aids for maintenance actions, equipment status, and flying schedules
- Coordinates with Materiel Control, Quality Assurance, Air Operations, and other maintenance shops
- Requests necessary support services and directs physical movement of aircraft and equipment
- Controls communication and transportation systems for effective information flow and material movement
- Develops and maintains procedural check sheets for emergency actions and contingency commitments
- Makes required inputs to automated data systems and retrieves computer generated maintenance data
- Conducts training of assigned military personnel
- Performs other duties as assigned
