Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in production control or related field preferred
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer skills and experience with database systems
  • Ability to follow strict safety and quality procedures
  • Capability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in production control or airline catering coordination preferred
  • Strong computer skills including database management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible shifts
  • Knowledge of LEAN processes is a plus
  • Familiarity with government regulatory standards such as FDA, USDA, OSHA, EPA, DOT, and HACCP
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure

Job Duties

  • Coordinate and participate in daily area and department face-to-face meetings
  • Manually add flights and meal service codes to CBase
  • Audit, print, sort, and deliver flight meal reports and diagrams to in-house stations
  • Communicate up-to-date flight and meal information via email, phone, or two-way radio to required departments
  • Ensure work group members have stations properly set up at start of shift and during shift
  • Monitor and ensure Gold Standards are properly utilized
  • Monitor and ensure all food items are properly dated and rotated per FIFO standards
  • Monitor all work group members report for shift on time
  • Monitor all work group members to ensure proper equipment and uniform attire standards are followed
  • Create and maintain department production paperwork
  • Assist in the implementation of all LEAN processes and ensure continuation of process throughout department
  • Verify daily operational data and update appropriate databases as required
  • Ensure compliance with all government regulatory agencies standards
  • Monitor and review Internal Feedback Loop and all customer flight attendant comments information with work groups
