Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum three years relevant culinary management experience
- strong knowledge of foodservice industry trends
- ability to manage inventory and purchasing
- excellent communication and leadership skills
- passion for sustainability
- ability to comply with health and safety standards
- willing to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
Job Qualifications
- three years culinary management experience in contract foodservice or fine dining
- knowledge of menu development, purchasing, and inventory control
- experience with exposition cooking
- understanding of food cost controls and sanitation standards
- familiarity with P&L accountability in foodservice
- servsafe certification is a plus
- union and corporate food service experience preferred
Job Duties
- manage full culinary operation including inventory, ordering, and receiving
- develop menus focusing on cost control and local sourcing
- oversee food production ensuring quality, sanitation, and presentation
- implement sustainability practices in culinary operations
- monitor and control food costs
- coordinate with management on P&L accountability
- maintain compliance with health and safety regulations
