Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent culinary experience
  • Minimum three years of culinary management experience
  • Knowledge of food purchasing, inventory, and cost controls
  • Experience in contract food service or related operations
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for sustainability and food quality

Job Qualifications

  • Three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining, or restaurant settings
  • Knowledge of inventory and purchasing control
  • Experience with menu development and food cost controls
  • Understanding of sanitation and food safety regulations
  • Ability to manage P&L and contract food services
  • ServSafe certification is a plus
  • Experience with exposition cooking
  • Familiarity with union and corporate food service environments is a plus

Job Duties

  • Manage full culinary operations including inventory, ordering, and receiving
  • Develop menus with a focus on cost control and use of local food products
  • Control food costs and ensure quality and presentation standards
  • Maintain knowledge of contract food service operations and P&L accountability
  • Promote sustainability initiatives in culinary practices
  • Implement sanitation and safety standards
  • Conduct exposition cooking and supervision
