  • availability for day or night shifts
  • ability to work 8-hour shifts and mandatory overtime

  • willing to work weekends and a 6-day workweek when necessary

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Prepares cakes for icing
  • pushes or pulls bakery racks of product to cake room
  • pulls individual cakes from totes and removes baking paper
  • cuts or splits cakes horizontally for icing or filling
  • operates cake slabber to slice cakes
  • places cakes on conveyor for icing
  • prepares icings and fillings using commercial mixers if trained
  • retrieves and handles supplies including heavy crates
  • applies icing using bowl knives and pastry bags
  • decorates cakes with borders and designs
  • applies toppings like crumbs and nuts
  • fills pastry bags and pastries
  • assembles napoleon pastries
  • cleans and sets up work area for production runs
  • loads and operates bowl washers
  • washes utensils and wipes down countertops
  • maneuvers work tables and carts
  • transports finished products to freezer
  • works collaboratively on production line
