Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- maintains food handler’s card – new hires are expected to have a valid card by their first date of work
- basic math skills
- working knowledge of and ability to speak and understand basic English preferred
- 1+ year(s) professional baking experience preferred (not required)
- ability and readiness to stand for eight-hour shifts and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- must have reliable transportation
Job Duties
- Produce high-quality artisan breads and savory pastries in a high-volume production environment
- adhere to Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) requirements and maintain strict sanitation standards
- participate in on-the-job training to develop artisan baking skills
- work cooperatively within a team-focused production environment
- maintain efficiency and attention to detail throughout shifts
- stand for the duration of shifts and safely lift ingredients and products up to 50 pounds
- adjust to schedule flexibility including nights, weekends, and holidays
