Job Requirements

  • must maintain a valid food handler's card
  • ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • willingness to work early morning shifts starting at 5:00 AM
  • availability to work weekends and holidays
  • reliable transportation
  • ability to work in warm and flour-dust environments

Job Qualifications

  • must be at least 18 years old
  • valid food handler's card by first day of work
  • basic math skills
  • ability to understand and speak basic English preferred
  • 1+ year professional baking experience preferred but not required
  • reliable transportation
  • physical stamina to stand for entire shifts and carry heavy loads

Job Duties

  • produce high quality artisan breads and pastries in a high-volume setting
  • maintain food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with FSMA
  • operate baking equipment efficiently and safely
  • collaborate with team members to meet production goals
  • stand and move throughout entire shifts
  • lift and carry ingredients and products weighing up to 50 pounds
  • participate in training programs to develop baking skills
