Job Requirements

  • Background in baking or similar role
  • Knowledge of baking procedures and benchmarks
  • Food safety certification is mandatory
  • Basic math skills and numeracy
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for extended periods
  • Willingness to wear personal protective equipment and designated uniforms
  • Ability to maintain hygiene and safety standards in food preparation

  • Certified in food safety
  • Basic mathematical skills and numeracy
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

Job Duties

  • Produce a range of baked goods in accordance with standardized recipes and production guidelines
  • Set up workstation with all required baking supplies and equipment
  • Complete the necessary steps of quantifying, weighing, blending, chopping, and more to prepare ingredients
  • Use baking equipment such as ovens, cookers, and mixers
  • Adhere to safety precautions when using utensils like knives for food preparation
  • Store food following food safety policies and procedures
  • Sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils after each use
  • Ensure top-notch customer service and maintain a friendly demeanor when assisting guests, customers, clients, coworkers, and others
  • Follow Aramark safety regulations including maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
  • Secure company property by observing designated security protocols
