Job Requirements

  • Background in baking or similar role
  • Knowledge of baking procedures and health standards
  • Food safety certification
  • Basic mathematical and numeracy skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand/walk for extended periods
  • Willingness to use personal protective equipment and wear designated uniforms

Job Qualifications

  • Background in baking or a similar role
  • Well-versed in baking procedures and compliance with health standards
  • Food safety certification is obligatory
  • Proficiency in basic mathematical and numeracy skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking/standing
  • Experience in using personal protective equipment and adherence to uniform requirements

Job Duties

  • Produce a range of baked goods in accordance with standardized recipes and production guidelines
  • Set up workstation with required baking supplies and equipment
  • Complete steps of quantifying, weighing, blending, chopping, and ingredient preparation
  • Use baking equipment such as ovens, cookers, and mixers
  • Adhere to safety precautions when using utensils for food preparation
  • Store food following food safety policies and procedures
  • Sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils after use
  • Provide top-notch customer service maintaining a friendly demeanor
  • Follow Aramark safety regulations including food safety and sanitation standards
  • Secure company property by observing security protocols
