Job Requirements
- Background in baking or similar role
- Knowledge of baking procedures and health standards
- Food safety certification
- Basic mathematical and numeracy skills
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities
- Physical ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand/walk for extended periods
- Willingness to use personal protective equipment and wear designated uniforms
Job Qualifications
- Background in baking or a similar role
- Well-versed in baking procedures and compliance with health standards
- Food safety certification is obligatory
- Proficiency in basic mathematical and numeracy skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking/standing
- Experience in using personal protective equipment and adherence to uniform requirements
Job Duties
- Produce a range of baked goods in accordance with standardized recipes and production guidelines
- Set up workstation with required baking supplies and equipment
- Complete steps of quantifying, weighing, blending, chopping, and ingredient preparation
- Use baking equipment such as ovens, cookers, and mixers
- Adhere to safety precautions when using utensils for food preparation
- Store food following food safety policies and procedures
- Sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils after use
- Provide top-notch customer service maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Follow Aramark safety regulations including food safety and sanitation standards
- Secure company property by observing security protocols
