Job Requirements

  • Background in baking or a similar role
  • Knowledge of baking procedures and health standards
  • Food safety certification(s) required
  • Basic math skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for extended periods
  • Willingness to wear personal protective equipment and uniforms
  • Commitment to following safety and hygiene protocols

Job Qualifications

  • Background in baking or a similar role
  • Proficiency in baking procedures, benchmarks, and compliance with health standards
  • Food safety certification(s)
  • Basic mathematical skills and numeracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Experience working with baking equipment

Job Duties

  • Produce a range of baked goods in accordance with standardized recipes and production guidelines
  • Set up workstation with all required baking supplies and equipment
  • Prepare ingredients by quantifying, weighing, blending, and chopping as necessary
  • Use baking equipment including ovens, cookers, and mixers safely
  • Adhere to safety precautions when handling utensils such as knives
  • Store food properly following food safety policies and procedures
  • Sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils after each use
  • Provide top-notch customer service maintaining a friendly demeanor
  • Comply with Aramark safety regulations including food safety and sanitation standards
  • Observe company security protocols to secure property
