Job Requirements

  • 1-2 years of baking or pastry experience preferred
  • food handler certificate required
  • strong interest in high-quality baked goods and the food industry
  • excellent ability to manage time and meet deadlines efficiently
  • ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50-75 lbs occasionally
  • keen eye for detail and quality control
  • open availability and schedule flexibility is a must

Job Duties

  • Collaborate proactively with the Back of House Manager during shifts
  • follow established recipes, equipment SOPs, weights and measures, and sanitation guidelines
  • ensure timely completion of orders maintaining quality standards
  • maintain a sanitary and organized work environment
  • monitor proper storage and shelf life of products
  • comply with health and safety regulations and food safety guidelines
  • use baking equipment such as mixers, dough sheeters, and ovens efficiently and safely
  • monitor baking processes for quality control and make adjustments as needed
  • approach tasks with urgency to meet production goals
  • perform additional duties as assigned by management
