Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Maintains a valid Food Handler's Card
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and carry 30 lbs
  • Basic math skills
  • Demonstrates regular attendance and punctuality

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Maintains a valid Food Handler's Card at all times and follows health department guidelines
  • Basic math skills
  • Working knowledge of and ability to speak and understand basic English preferred
  • Professional baking experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Bake, mix, form, fermentation, proofing of all products
  • Understand use of all equipment on bread production floor
  • Maintain accurate counts
  • Meet quality and production pace expectations as per Level 1 training requirements
  • Follow FSMA guidelines and maintain records and food safety goals
  • Perform quality control of product, cull unusable loaves, and report shortages to the person in charge
  • Record mix times and dough temperatures accurately
  • Communicate critical information including equipment issues, supply concerns, maintenance or cleaning needs, and accurate product counts to shift lead and manager
  • Use checklists and training documents to produce accurate results
  • Demonstrate knowledge of all bread products and their properties
  • Be aware of and communicate final product goals
  • Understand financial goals of the department and impact of lost product
