Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • maintain a valid Food Handler's Card
  • basic math skills required
  • demonstrate regular attendance and punctuality
  • ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
  • working knowledge of basic English preferred
  • professional baking experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Bake mixes form fermentation proofing of all products
  • understands use of all equipment on bread production floor
  • maintain accurate counts
  • meet quality and production pace expectations
  • follow FSMA guidelines and maintain food safety records
  • perform quality control of product and report unusable loaves
  • record mix times and dough temperatures accurately
  • communicate equipment issues supply concerns maintenance and shortages
  • know all bread products and describe properties
  • use checklists and training documents for accurate baking process
  • be aware of and communicate final product goals
  • understand financial goals of department and impact of lost product
