Job Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the US
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must adhere to attendance policy
  • Must be willing to work in close proximity to others for extended periods
  • Must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment with time pressures
  • Must be willing to handle soiled materials with pungent odors using protective equipment
  • Requires standing for most of the shift
  • Requires bending, squatting, or stooping
  • Requires physical activity including lifting and moving materials

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in a production or sorting role is an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and schedule-driven environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and sort materials accurately
  • Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to safety guidelines and practices
  • Ability to withstand physical demands such as standing for extended periods and lifting materials

Job Duties

  • Sort soiled materials such as shop towels, aprons, and bar mops into separate laundry bags accurately
  • Monitor counts or weights of materials to determine when new laundry bags are needed
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area
  • Meet or exceed standards for quantity and quality of work
  • Use appropriate protective equipment when handling materials with odors
  • Work cooperatively with team members to achieve production goals
  • Adhere to safety protocols and company policies
