Job Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must adhere to attendance policy
- Must be willing to work in close proximity to others for extended periods
- Must be willing to work in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment
- Must be willing to handle soiled and odorous materials with protective equipment
- Standing for most of the shift
- Bending, squatting, or stooping to accomplish work activities
- Physical activity including lifting and moving materials throughout the shift
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous production or sorting experience a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safety and compliance
- Ability to handle odorous and soiled materials
Job Duties
- Sort soiled materials such as shop towels, aprons, and bar mops into separate laundry bags accurately
- Monitor counts or weights by material type to determine when a new laundry bag is needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
- Meet or exceed standard quantity and quality of work
- Work safely in close proximity to others
- Handle materials with appropriate protective equipment
- Follow all safety rules and guidelines
