Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- must be able to consistently lift bags up to 55 lbs without restrictions or limitations
- ability to operate fill/feed lines and mixing stations
- ability to perform heavy lifting
- availability to work night shift (9:00 pm to 5:30 am)
- capacity to work in an environment handling allergens including wheat, soy, egg, milk, celery, and mustard
- ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and good manufacturing practices (GMPs)
- commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized production environment
- willingness to use personal protective equipment
- ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- ability to consistently lift bags up to 55 lbs without restrictions or limitations
- experience working in a production or manufacturing environment is advantageous
- strong attention to detail and ability to work at a fast pace
- basic knowledge of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and good manufacturing practices (GMPs)
- ability to fill out clear and legible batch processing documentation and cleaning records
- capability to work safely while operating production and packaging equipment
- ability to follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment
- excellent teamwork and communication skills
- willingness to participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Job Duties
- Operate fill/feed lines on blending areas
- operate mixing stations in blending areas
- operate packaging stations and stack finished products on any line
- operate production equipment safely and without errors
- communicate any problem or changes in production or quality to supervisor or lead personnel
- follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for line equipment and complete cleaning as needed
- follow good manufacturing practices (GMPs) while in all production areas
- fill out clear and legible batch processing documentation and cleaning records
- run washroom equipment and use necessary personal protective equipment
- maintain a safe, clean, and organized production area
- participate in continuous improvement process
- complete all other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required
- work with blending line as a team player by providing excellent teamwork and collaborative attitude
