Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • one year or more of shipping, receiving, and warehouse experience
  • able to read and understand English
  • able to bend and lift 50 or more pounds
  • proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel
  • workable knowledge of warehouse management systems
  • forklift certification preferred
  • safety-conscious with the ability to follow procedures and wear required safety equipment

Job Qualifications

  • forklift certified preferred
  • proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • workable knowledge of warehouse management systems and business processes
  • ability to work closely with warehouse manager to troubleshoot and solve receiving and inventory problems
  • strong concern for safety and adherence to safety procedures and equipment use

Job Duties

  • perform inventory control including cycle counts, material stocking, and scrapping
  • assist in managing material expiry, allocation, kitting, and maintaining material condition requirements
  • move materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas
  • inspect received materials for quality and accuracy
  • sort and place materials in designated locations
  • mark materials with identifying information for tracking
  • record amounts of material or items received and distributed
  • maintain timing according to the production schedule to ensure on-time logistics
  • record material handling data and information clearly and concisely according to standard operating procedures
  • work in a team-based, cross-functional environment to complete kitting and delivery tasks as per shift schedule
  • assist with month-end inventory counts and warehouse preparation including cleaning, sorting, and labeling parts
  • place orders for parts as directed and follow up on order status
