Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years production management experience
  • Proficiency in sound, video, and lighting production technology
  • Supervisory experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work nights and weekends
  • Licensed to operate motor vehicle in Minnesota

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or equivalent experience
  • Minimum three years of production management experience in corporate meetings, entertainment, theatre, arena, or stadium
  • Proficiency in sound, video, and lighting production technology
  • Supervisory experience
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Professional presentation and work ethic
  • Ability to adjust schedules including nights and weekends
  • Knowledge of electrical, carpentry, or rigging trade skills preferred
  • Operational understanding of Q-Systems, Dante Audio Networks, ETC Paradigm, Creston systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and management software
  • AutoCAD experience preferred
  • Advanced understanding of network infrastructure relating to A/V needs
  • Licensed and insured to operate motor vehicle in Minnesota
  • ETSA certification a plus

Job Duties

  • Advance, facilitate, and execute production for multiple venues and event genres
  • Work directly with live entertainment and corporate productions to advance technical, A/V production, rigging, and logistics
  • Coordinate and supervise in-house crew, stage labor, and other technicians
  • Oversee all production, rigging, sound, lighting, and A/V operations
  • Manage production operations and personnel to fulfill technical rider requirements
  • Oversee or manage performance-related facility systems in collaboration with outside vendors
  • Ensure adherence to in-house production rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Assist with crew booking, scheduling, and payroll oversight
  • Supervise technical setup and changeover for venues
  • Coordinate scheduling of stage equipment repair and maintenance
  • Assist with departmental budget development and adherence
  • Communicate directives clearly and timely to other departments
  • Provide yearly inventory of all equipment
  • Investigate, analyze, and resolve technical problems and complaints
  • Operate and train staff on facility systems including mixing consoles, public address, intercom, video equipment, and theatrical lighting
  • Gather event production information and assist with client billing
  • Coordinate preventative maintenance and equipment repairs
  • Adhere to organizational reporting policies
  • Act as manager on duty for occasional events
