Job Requirements

  • Currently pursuing B.S. in Life Sciences or Biochemical Sciences with a minimum of 2 college semesters complete
  • Practical laboratory experience including accurate measurement of weight, volume, time, and temperature
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to multitask
  • Enthusiasm, motivation, and initiative
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work in an interactive and energetic workplace

Job Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing B.S. in Life Sciences or Biochemical Sciences with a minimum of 2 college semesters complete
  • Practical abilities and sensitivity to working in a laboratory with respect to the importance of accurate measurements of weight (laboratory balance operation), volume (pipette skills), time, temperature, and excellent documentation skills (hand and/or computer)
  • Ability to multitask

Job Duties

  • Assist with running lab-based experiments and test samples related to our manufacturing process on clinical analyzers and/or common lab instruments
  • Run pilot experiments in collaboration with the responsible scientist
  • Assist in reviewing and maintaining department files
  • Review process procedures, change orders, equipment specifications, validation plans, and reports
  • Summarize findings using MS Excel with some statistical analysis and preparing graphs
