Kraft Heinz is a globally recognized leader in the food industry, known for producing a wide array of beloved household brands, including frozen soups and macaroni & cheese. Their Cedar Rapids facility is a key part of their operation, functioning as a 3-shift, non-union plant that employs approximately 200 hourly staff members composed of both temporary and full-time associates. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or packing preferred
  • Ability to work 2nd shift from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm
  • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs above head
  • Ability to operate machinery and perform GFS tasks
  • Understanding of safety and food quality standards
  • Must be detail-oriented and organized
  • Ability to communicate and work as part of a team
  • Must comply with safety protocols at all times

Job Duties

  • Pack soup
  • Load cases into Wexxar
  • Verify bag and case print
  • Operate Icontech
  • Perform GFS tasks including inners, taping, and stickering
  • Load totes into tote dumper
  • Complete all required documentation and IQS entries
  • Verify product quality including date codes, weight distribution, seal integrity, label verification, and case quality
  • Follow all required safety work practices including use of PPE and JSA
  • Perform other duties as assigned
