Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 4 years of related experience preferred
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license with no drug or alcohol related incidents in last 3 years
  • No more than 1 serious moving violation in last 3 years
  • No driving-related license suspensions or revocation within 3-5 years
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to travel as required for job duties
  • Comfortable with physical exertion including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Proficient in English language, written and spoken
  • Ability to operate large, high-performance vehicles
  • Willingness to work outdoors and in various weather conditions
  • Ability to learn and use CRM and Microsoft or Google tools
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required local sales licenses
  • Ability to work independently and in team settings

Job Qualifications

  • Preferred 4+ years experience in sales, retail, hospitality or similar fields
  • At least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Proven track record in a high-velocity sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, in a commission-based environment
  • Experience succeeding in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
  • Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability and willingness to travel for events and market launches
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft programs or Google Workspace
  • Comfortable operating large, high-performance vehicles and conducting demo drives
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Ability to obtain and maintain local sales licenses if applicable

Job Duties

  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Ensure customer experience is best-in-class, authentic, engaging, educational and aligned with Rivian’s values
  • Engage and qualify customers to create personalized experiences that drive conversion and satisfaction
  • Maintain and share in-depth product knowledge to guide customer decision-making
  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline via high-touch, responsive service
  • Engage and support customers through order confirmation and various sales stages
  • Host and support retail activations and experiential events to generate demand
  • Study and solicit customer feedback for continuous improvement
  • Stay informed on auto and EV competitive trends to build product value and overcome objections
  • Share success strategies, best practices and feedback to cultivate a learning culture
  • Perform keyholder location opening and closing duties, including operational checklists and team huddles
  • Support and motivate team members by providing clear direction and feedback
  • Resolve customer escalations promptly and escalate outstanding issues as needed
  • Communicate business trends and data to leadership with recommendations
  • Pay close attention to customer sentiment and coach for exceptional service
  • Take on additional projects, duties, and assignments as requested by sales leadership
