Job Duties
- stock and rotate items as needed
- load, unload, and move heavy, bulky products to support in-stock conditions
- build, stock, sign, maintain, and take down store displays as directed
- check shipments for out-of-date and damaged product to ensure freshness and quality
- report missing signs or tags to the department manager or shelf edge team
- report all out-of-date and damaged product received issues to department manager
- provide excellent customer service by answering product-related questions and assisting customers with selections
- communicate safe handling and cooking methods to customers as needed
- organize and clean prep areas, freezers, coolers, ware room, and sales floor
- clean and sanitize display cases
- properly operate and maintain equipment
- maintain standards in shrink, safety, inventory control, and sanitation
- comply with department/store operating procedures and federal/state regulations
