Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- 1-3 years of experience working in grocery retail with management experience in produce
- Basic knowledge of math, weights and measures
- Good communication skills
- Ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
- Perform general housekeeping and sanitize work area
- Adhere to all safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb throughout the work day
- Ability to lift, stack, and maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs safely
- Ability to use a pallet jack to move pallets requiring force up to 85 pounds
- Ability to maneuver six wheel carts with force up to 35 lbs
- Ability to walk a total of up to 5 miles in an 8 hour shift
- Achieve and maintain Food Handlers permit
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Possess working knowledge of personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales, and financial goals
- Show outgoing and friendly behavior and a positive attitude

Job Duties
- Responsible for quality control, merchandising, maintaining cleanliness and organization of produce department
- Responsible for inventory management
- Engage and evaluate team members through coaching, feedback, and development discussions
- Complete bi-annual performance reviews and make recommendations on merit increases
- Attend and participate in in-store meetings
- Recruit, hire, and make promotion or transfer decisions in collaboration with Store Manager
- Exercise independent judgment to address Team Member concerns
- Take and document corrective actions including coaching, counseling, progressive discipline, suspension, or termination when needed
- Create and adjust schedules and staffing levels for maximum productivity and efficiency
- Communicate standards, expectations, policy changes, and product knowledge to team members
- Lead team to deliver finest quality product, highest level of service, and great customer experience
- Serve as a Key Carrier and/or Manager on Duty as needed
