Job Requirements

  • Less than high school education or equivalent experience
  • six months or less of related work experience
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
  • ability to visually distinguish colors and identify freshness
  • able to work night and weekend shifts
  • willingness to adhere to company policies and guidelines
  • ability to report to work as scheduled and on time
  • successful completion of pre-employment drug screen

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
  • smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
  • assists customers by escorting them to products, securing out of reach items, loading/unloading heavy items, noting and passing along customer suggestions
  • answers the telephone and provides helpful service
  • works as a team with co-workers to ensure customer satisfaction
  • practices proper sanitation procedures and maintains clean work areas
  • reviews merchandise for freshness and ensures adequate product supply
  • checks in product, stores it properly, and reviews invoices
  • removes trash in a timely manner
  • prepares and replenishes products
  • adheres to personal hygiene and company policies
  • orders product and supplies as needed
  • prices products
  • delivers orders and assists other store areas
  • performs other job related duties and special projects
