Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one year of produce experience
- valid Washington State Food Workers Card
- ability to work part-time in a fast-paced retail environment
- successful completion of background check and reference checks
- strong problem-solving skills
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to perform physical tasks related to produce handling
Job Qualifications
- One year of produce experience
- comprehensive knowledge and understanding of food including ingredients, applications, pronunciations, and culinary skills
- knowledge of food safety, HACCP and Department of Health guidelines
- excellent time management and organizational skills
- strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
- ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
- demonstrated success working in a diverse team environment
Job Duties
- Maintain high-quality standards in product management and presentation
- support and execute production of produce merchandising and displays
- provide outstanding customer service and communicate product information to increase sales and meet revenue goals
- participate in physical inventories and perform inventory control
- ensure highest quality products are stocked
- appropriately remove and replace outdated product daily
- effectively perform light housekeeping duties within the department
