Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • one year of produce experience
  • valid Washington State Food Workers Card
  • ability to work part-time in a fast-paced retail environment
  • successful completion of background check and reference checks
  • strong problem-solving skills
  • excellent customer service skills
  • ability to perform physical tasks related to produce handling

Job Qualifications

  • One year of produce experience
  • comprehensive knowledge and understanding of food including ingredients, applications, pronunciations, and culinary skills
  • knowledge of food safety, HACCP and Department of Health guidelines
  • excellent time management and organizational skills
  • strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
  • ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
  • demonstrated success working in a diverse team environment

Job Duties

  • Maintain high-quality standards in product management and presentation
  • support and execute production of produce merchandising and displays
  • provide outstanding customer service and communicate product information to increase sales and meet revenue goals
  • participate in physical inventories and perform inventory control
  • ensure highest quality products are stocked
  • appropriately remove and replace outdated product daily
  • effectively perform light housekeeping duties within the department
