Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, finance, or related field
- proven procurement and category management experience in transportation and logistics
- strong commercial negotiation and contract management skills
- experience with transportation management systems
- knowledge of freight market dynamics
- excellent communication and analytical skills
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, finance, or related field
- professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, CSCMP/SCPro preferred
- proven procurement and category management experience in third-party transportation and logistics
- deep expertise in parcel, LTL/FTL, intermodal, ocean, air freight, brokerage, last-mile, and courier services
- strong commercial negotiation and contract management skills
- solid understanding of freight economics and market dynamics
- experience with transportation systems and tools such as TMS, parcel analytics, and freight audit and payment platforms
Job Duties
- Develop and execute global transportation sourcing strategies across multiple transportation modes
- lead competitive sourcing events including RFPs and RFQs
- evaluate carriers and 3PLs
- negotiate and structure complex transportation contracts
- manage carrier, broker, and 3PL performance using scorecards and reviews
- analyze freight markets and cost drivers to provide insights
- partner cross-functionally to balance cost, service, compliance, and risk
