Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, finance, or related field
  • proven procurement and category management experience in transportation and logistics
  • strong commercial negotiation and contract management skills
  • experience with transportation management systems
  • knowledge of freight market dynamics
  • excellent communication and analytical skills

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, finance, or related field
  • professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, CSCMP/SCPro preferred
  • proven procurement and category management experience in third-party transportation and logistics
  • deep expertise in parcel, LTL/FTL, intermodal, ocean, air freight, brokerage, last-mile, and courier services
  • strong commercial negotiation and contract management skills
  • solid understanding of freight economics and market dynamics
  • experience with transportation systems and tools such as TMS, parcel analytics, and freight audit and payment platforms

Job Duties

  • Develop and execute global transportation sourcing strategies across multiple transportation modes
  • lead competitive sourcing events including RFPs and RFQs
  • evaluate carriers and 3PLs
  • negotiate and structure complex transportation contracts
  • manage carrier, broker, and 3PL performance using scorecards and reviews
  • analyze freight markets and cost drivers to provide insights
  • partner cross-functionally to balance cost, service, compliance, and risk
