Job Requirements
- 4-year degree in a related field
- 5+ years in supply chain and procurement
- Experience in procurement and negotiation strategies
- Proven track record of success in leadership positions
- Ability to understand and function effectively in a team environment
- Prior experience in restaurant or food service industry
- Willingness to be onsite 80 percent of the time at Atlanta Global Support Center
Job Qualifications
- 4-year degree in a related field
- Master's degree a plus
- 5+ years in supply chain and procurement
- Experience in procurement and negotiation strategies
- Proven track record of success in leadership positions
- Understand and function effectively in a team environment
- Restaurant or food service experience
Job Duties
- Assumes full buying responsibility for selected categories
- Ensures all legal documents are in place for each supplier including NDA, Master Supplier Agreement, and Product Agreements
- Conducts the RFP process, bid analysis and review, contract negotiations, and blanket purchase agreement creation
- Develops and executes purchasing strategies for products monitoring macro trends in supplier base
- Identifies and realizes cost-savings and cost-reduction opportunities
- Minimizes risk of supply disruption by analyzing information and developing solutions
- Builds strategic relationships with suppliers and internal Brand Core Teams
- Monitors purchasing performance and supplier scorecards
- Mentors, coaches, and develops less experienced members of the procurement team
- Executes performance management and personal development plans
- Performs other responsibilities assigned by management
