Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • zero years of work experience required
  • ability to sit, stand, bend, walk and lift up to 50 lbs during shifts
  • willingness to wear required personal protective equipment including surgical gowns, masks, visors or goggles, and caps
  • ability to work full-time, Saturday to Monday, 6:00 PM to 6:45 AM shifts

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • preferred one year work experience
  • ability to perform tasks thoroughly and with care ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • effective verbal and written communication skills
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, computer software, and databases
  • strong time management and prioritization skills
  • ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Provide tissue circulating support for all processing rooms including obtaining necessary equipment, tools, and items
  • prepare processing materials and samples for transport
  • perform set-up, break-down, and terminal cleaning events for all processing rooms
  • clean and inspect general areas as needed including removal and documentation of post-processing materials and bio-hazardous waste
  • inventory and organize supplies and equipment necessary for processing
  • perform environmental monitoring such as touch plating of clean rooms and general areas
  • monitor temperatures and maintain freezers, refrigerators, and incubators as required
