Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • WI Certified Food Manager License or willingness to obtain
  • Leadership ability
  • Strong communication skills
  • Computer proficiency
  • Ability to interact effectively with guests and associates
  • Knowledge of safety standards
  • Ability to recognize and react to safety hazards
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks
  • Willingness to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • WI Certified Food Manager License (or willing to obtain)
  • Ability to lead, coach, and motivate others
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Basic computer and technology knowledge
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact tactfully with guests and associates
  • Knowledge of safety requirements and company safety policies
  • Ability to apply on-the-job safety training effectively

Job Duties

  • Lead the processed meats area
  • Ensure quality and freshness of products
  • Create attractive and organized displays
  • Support and guide team members
  • Step in for Meat Department Manager when needed
  • Assist guests with product questions and recommendations
  • Manage inventory and ensure accurate pricing
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace
  • Meet daily department goals
