Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Forklift certification
  • Ability to work night shifts on a 2-2-3 pattern from 6 pm to 6:30 am
  • Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs, and stand for long periods
  • Willingness to work overtime and be flexible
  • Must follow safety protocols and wear PPE
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • No travel expected except for training purposes as required
  • Commitment to quality and food safety standards
  • Attention to detail and strong work ethics

  • Ability to read and write in English

Job Duties

  • Coordinate cleaning (CIP), sterilizing, and operating Tetra VTIS and supporting systems while maximizing product quality and departmental efficiency
  • Work in conjunction with mix blend and filling departments to coordinate plant production
  • Perform light maintenance such as replacing gaskets and completing work orders for parts
  • Take full ownership of required quality checks to ensure standards are met
  • Relieve other production team members during absences
  • Maintain a clean and organized area around equipment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate equipment operating difficulties
  • Complete inspections of all critical parameters
  • Understand the continuous process flow of the aseptic system
  • Work independently and professionally with team members
  • Complete all required paperwork neatly and professionally
  • Use a computer proficiently
  • Perform quality and food safety checks to meet standards and specifications
  • Communicate production delays or problems to facility personnel
  • Follow all employee safety, food safety, and quality procedures and GMPs
  • Ensure proper shift handoff with incoming/outgoing operators
  • Wear all required PPE such as gloves, aprons, face shields, and safety glasses
  • Demonstrate leadership and ownership of department responsibilities
  • Perform any other duties as assigned
