Job Requirements

  • Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, nursing, health administration, quality improvement, or equivalent education
  • At least 4 years experience in applying continuous improvement methodologies in a work setting
  • Advanced computer proficiency
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to transfer knowledge effectively
  • Demonstrated change management and conflict resolution capabilities
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Submission of three professional references and a resume
  • Compliance with pre-employment screening including criminal background, drug testing, and education verification

Job Qualifications

  • Baccalaureate degree in industrial engineering, nursing, health administration, quality improvement, or equivalent education
  • Minimum of 4 years experience applying continuous improvement methodologies such as PDSA, lean, six sigma, and project management
  • Advanced proficiency in computer programs including office automation software and statistical programs
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills including coaching and feedback
  • Ability to transfer knowledge and provide effective learning experiences
  • Demonstrated change management and conflict resolution skills
  • Superb time management, organizational skills, and multitasking ability
  • Capability to work independently with minimal direction

Job Duties

  • Facilitate, train, and coach individuals in applying performance improvement philosophies and practices to daily work
  • Design, direct, and conduct cross-functional, institutionally strategic healthcare projects
  • Optimize quality and safety to lead in value creation for patients, staff, and population health
  • Enhance patient experience and improve financial performance
  • Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives and develop employees
  • Collaborate with faculty, trainees, operational leaders, and staff in performance improvement efforts
  • Communicate effectively through oral, written, and presentation teaching formats
