Job Requirements
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, nursing, health administration, quality improvement, or equivalent education
- At least 4 years experience in applying continuous improvement methodologies in a work setting
- Advanced computer proficiency
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to transfer knowledge effectively
- Demonstrated change management and conflict resolution capabilities
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently
- Submission of three professional references and a resume
- Compliance with pre-employment screening including criminal background, drug testing, and education verification
Job Qualifications
- Baccalaureate degree in industrial engineering, nursing, health administration, quality improvement, or equivalent education
- Minimum of 4 years experience applying continuous improvement methodologies such as PDSA, lean, six sigma, and project management
- Advanced proficiency in computer programs including office automation software and statistical programs
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills including coaching and feedback
- Ability to transfer knowledge and provide effective learning experiences
- Demonstrated change management and conflict resolution skills
- Superb time management, organizational skills, and multitasking ability
- Capability to work independently with minimal direction
Job Duties
- Facilitate, train, and coach individuals in applying performance improvement philosophies and practices to daily work
- Design, direct, and conduct cross-functional, institutionally strategic healthcare projects
- Optimize quality and safety to lead in value creation for patients, staff, and population health
- Enhance patient experience and improve financial performance
- Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives and develop employees
- Collaborate with faculty, trainees, operational leaders, and staff in performance improvement efforts
- Communicate effectively through oral, written, and presentation teaching formats
