Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, industrial engineering, or mechanical engineering from an accredited university
- Minimum of 4 - 9 years' experience in a process manufacturing environment
- Able to work alone with limited supervision
- Handles low to intermediate complex issues and refers difficult issues to higher-level staff
- Lift and/or carry minimum of 50 pounds
- Push/pull 25 pounds
- Stand at least 50-75% of the day
- Sit 25-50% of the day
- Twist/bend 50-75% of the day
- Squat, climb or crawl 20% of the day
- Must have or be able to obtain a passport
- Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, industrial engineering, or mechanical engineering from an accredited university
- Minimum of 4 - 9 years' experience in a process manufacturing environment
- Analytical thinking and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized in scheduling, executing responsibilities and prioritizing in a multitask environment
- Team player with a positive, cooperative attitude
- Leadership skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook
- Experience with Mini-Tab or other similar software
Job Duties
- Assist new product development projects as assigned and in compliance with procedures, programs, and policies
- Assist with developing and executing design of experiments for pilot plant and production scale-up
- Analyze design of experiment data identifying results compared to expectations and opportunities for improvement
- Analyze product, process, and quality data identifying opportunities for improvement and cost reduction
- Ensure operations and processes comply with ISO/QMS requirements
- Develop work instructions and provide training on new and improved equipment and processes
- Assist in identifying, developing and implementing process improvement initiatives which reduce waste and non-value-added activities
