Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, industrial engineering, or mechanical engineering from an accredited university
- Minimum of 0 - 4 years experience in a process manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift or carry a minimum of 50 pounds
- Ability to push or pull 25 pounds
- Ability to stand 50 - 75 percent of the day
- Ability to sit 25 - 50 percent of the day
- Ability to twist/bend 50 - 75 percent of the day
- Ability to squat, climb, or crawl for 20 percent of the day
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50 percent domestically and internationally
- Must have or be able to obtain a passport
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, industrial engineering, or mechanical engineering
- Minimum of 0 - 4 years' experience in a process manufacturing environment
- Self-starter able to work alone with limited supervision
- Analytical thinking and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized in scheduling, executing responsibilities and prioritizing in a multitask environment
- Team player with a positive, cooperative attitude
- Leadership skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook
- Experience with Mini-Tab or similar software
Job Duties
- Assist NPD projects as assigned and in compliance with procedures, programs, and policies
- Execute design of experiments for pilot plant scale-up and production scale-up
- Analyze design of experiment data compared to expectations and identify opportunities for improvement
- Analyze product/process data identifying opportunities for improvement and cost reduction
- Ensure all operations and processes comply with ISO/QMS requirements
- Develop work instructions and provide training on new and improved equipment and processes
- Assist in identifying, developing and implementing process improvement initiatives which reduce waste and non-value added activities
