Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum six months relevant experience
- experience within a manufacturing setting preferred
- demonstrated leadership skills
- ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing
- strong attention to detail
- proficient computer and math skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- follow departmental and company safety policies and programs
- wear required protective equipment
- ability to work non-standard or extended shifts including nights weekends and holidays
- ability to stand and walk throughout the shift
- tolerate exposure to heat cold wet dusty environments and animal odors
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum six months relevant experience preferably in a manufacturing setting
- demonstrated leadership skills with effective verbal and written communication in English
- ability to communicate in multiple languages preferred
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- proficient computer and math skills
- self-starter with strong initiative and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- coordinate the work of personnel and enforce company policies procedures food safety guidelines and GMP procedures
- set up production lines and deploy personnel to meet daily production requirements
- perform all functions of the assigned area and act as back-up for personnel during absences or breaks
- gather and accurately record production data and create departmental reports
- train and cross-train employees in departmental processes and procedures
- identify and communicate opportunities for process optimization and reduce or eliminate repeat deficiencies
- participate in the implementation of process improvements and monitor improvement metrics
