Job Requirements
- Graduation from high school or equivalent
- Some experience or education in sales or as a cashier or related experience
- Ability to maintain pro shop inventories
- Ability to operate computer, printer, cash register, calculator, typewriter, copier, and vacuum
- Ability to perform arithmetic computations quickly and accurately
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and patrons
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility in executing various job functions
- Comfortable and accurate with handling cash
- Ability to perform minor custodial functions
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
- Must be able to work 100 percent on-site
- Applicant must pass background investigation and drug/alcohol screening
Job Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or equivalent
- Some experience or education in sales or as a cashier or related experience
- Knowledge of daily golf operations
- Knowledge of sales and cash register operations
- Basic knowledge of golf
- Ability to maintain pro shop inventories
- Ability to operate a computer terminal, printer, cash drawer, calculator, typewriter, copier, and vacuum
- Ability to perform arithmetic computations quickly and accurately
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and patrons
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility in executing various job functions
- Comfortable and accurate with handling cash
- Ability to perform minor custodial functions
Job Duties
- Perform a variety of sales and clerical duties in managing the golf course pro shop
- Sell merchandise such as golf balls, clubs, tees, gloves, as well as food and drink concessions
- Register players, schedule starting times, collect greens and cart fees, and record receipts
- Provide information and interpret rules to visitors and users of the golf course
- Clean and maintain pro shop facilities on a daily basis
- Stock inventory for goods and concessions
- Operate cash register and concession distribution equipment
- Interact with the public and visitors in a pleasant and cordial manner
