Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • access to reliable transportation
  • willingness to travel within five-county service area
  • availability to attend events outside normal business hours
  • strong attention to detail
  • ability to balance multiple responsibilities

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor's degree from a 4-year college
  • one to two years related experience and/or training
  • strong organizational skills
  • strong communication skills
  • strong computer skills
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • comfort navigating social events and building professional relationships
  • familiarity with civil legal services or Massachusetts legal system preferred
  • fluency in Spanish a plus

Job Duties

  • administer volunteer programs for private attorneys
  • conduct client intakes
  • manage weekly in-person and remote lawyer-for-the-day programs and pro bono clinics
  • refer pro bono cases to volunteer attorneys
  • provide ongoing administrative support to volunteers
  • maintain accurate case records in case management system
  • engage in outreach and recruitment of volunteer attorneys
  • assist in coordinating and presenting volunteer training events
  • prepare periodic grant reports
