Job Requirements

  • education at bachelor’s degree level or equivalent experience preferred
  • experience in marketing, development or related field
  • proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
  • ability to work as-needed hours including evenings and weekends
  • maintain a dependable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license with an F endorsement
  • ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 150 lbs
  • ability to perform frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching
  • exposure to biological hazards
  • hearing of normal and soft tones
  • close eye work capability

Job Qualifications

  • marketing, development or related field preferable
  • software skills must include Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat) and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university preferred
  • knowledge of current practices in marketing, fundraising and community development, as well as the behavioral health field

Job Duties

  • participate in coordination and implementation of fundraising and community/internal events
  • create and distribute marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, programs, etc
  • organize and maintain event contacts and distribution lists
  • provide volunteer coordination assistance for special events
  • assist with other special projects as needed
  • approve and monitor program-level social media accounts and lead staff on effective social media engagement
  • coordinate and design email marketing in conjunction with the Breakthrough Gala and other special events
  • design layout for special event publications including flyers, posters, banners, and sponsor brochures
  • assist with basic photography and submit to marketing department
