Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Registered current Paramedic license in state of residence
- Current Paramedic license in Texas, Louisiana, Florida, and/or North Carolina preferred
- Current NREMT preferred
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification preferred
- Minimum one year experience as a Paramedic
- Completion of ICS 100, 200, 700, 800 courses
- Completion of ICS 300 and ICS 400 within three months of hire
- Ability to work 12+ hour shifts consecutively in austere conditions
- Strong communication skills in English
- Intermediate to advanced computer literacy, especially Microsoft Suite
Job Duties
- Collect and ensure documentation for medical staff meets guidelines
- Maintain confidentiality of health care records according to HIPAA and PHI
- Perform and supervise medical staff clinic duties
- Direct, train medical staff, and coordinate services following policies
- Monitor established health care plans within required timeframes
- Assist with process improvement by updating medical protocols
- Participate or supervise disaster preparedness, response, and recovery initiatives
