Job Requirements
- Maintain current licenses and certificates required for the position

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Registered current paramedic license in state of residence required
- Current paramedic license in Texas, Louisiana, Florida, and/or North Carolina preferred
- Current NREMT preferred
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification preferred
- Minimum of one year experience as a paramedic
- Completion of ICS 100, ICS 200, ICS 700, and ICS 800 required
- ICS 300 and ICS 400 to be completed upon hire
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Intermediate to advanced computer literacy, specifically Microsoft Suite
- Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team
- Emotional intelligence and professional demeanor
Job Duties
- Collect, enter, and ensure documentation for medical staff at designated sites
- Maintain confidentiality of health care records and information according to HIPAA and National EMR protocols
- Perform and supervise medical staff to perform clinic duties as directed
- Direct, train medical staff, and coordinate services following established policies and guidelines
- Monitor established health care plans for service population within designated timeframes
- Assist with process improvement by reviewing, writing, and updating medical protocols and procedures
- Participate in, assist, or supervise an incident management workforce conducting disaster preparedness, response, and recovery initiatives
