Job Requirements

- DSHS Paramedic license
- Valid driver’s license
- CPR certification

Job Duties
- Respond promptly to fire and medical emergency calls providing medical treatment and life-saving interventions to sick or injured patients at the scene
- Utilize radio telephone and dispatch communications to coordinate response activities
- Assess emergency situations and evacuate persons from danger making forcible entry into buildings as necessary
- Administer appropriate medications and treatment protocols as per established guidelines prioritizing patient well-being and safety
- Perform routine cleaning stocking and maintenance of ambulance and firefighting vehicles ensuring readiness for emergency deployment
- Ensure the proper maintenance and functioning of medical equipment promptly addressing any issues to uphold operational efficiency
- Foster positive working relationships with hospital and emergency department staff facilitating seamless transitions of patient care
