Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant preferably in primary care
- graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program
- national or state-specific MA certification or registration strongly preferred
- MA certification or registration required in states where mandated
- CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date
- phlebotomy experience preferred

Job Duties
- Escort patients to room and ensure exam rooms are thoroughly cleaned and stocked
- review previous medical information and gather updated health information from patients
- take vitals, perform blood draws, give injections, bandage wounds, assist with procedures, and work with contracted labs
- prepare and administer approved medications and immunizations according to provider orders
- partner with care team to develop individual patient care plans and address gaps in care
- perform front desk duties including patient scheduling, medical record requests and abstraction, documentation, coordinating specialist visits and referrals, check-in and check-out
- record accurate and pertinent data in medical records according to documentation guidelines
- process test results and provide timely results to patients as directed
- participate in outreach to patients to drive engagement
- maintain clinical and office supplies and equipment for treatments
