Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Graduation from an accredited LPN program
- At least 2 years of nursing experience preferred
- Current BLS certification
- Active state nursing license
- Ability to administer injections
- Proficiency in performing EKGs
- Strong phlebotomy skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Graduation from a formal LPN training program
- Minimum of 2 years experience preferred as an LPN, ideally in primary care
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Valid nursing license to practice in the applicable state
- Proficient in giving injections and completing EKGs
- Exceptional phlebotomy skills
- Ability to perform office-based procedures
Job Duties
- Support physician in clinical and administrative functions
- Interview patients to obtain medical information and report findings to physician
- Record patient assessments into an Electronic Medical Record
- Perform venipuncture and basic laboratory tests
- Assist with medical procedures
- Utilize diagnostic and therapeutic medical equipment
- Maintain exam rooms clean, disinfected, and stocked
- Manage patient flow according to scheduling and calls
- Coordinate specialist visits, referrals, and other external care
- Retrieve messages and respond to communications from patients, pharmacies, and medical offices
- Fulfill medical record requests and perform record abstraction
- Ensure medical visits are positive and supportive for patients
